We are searching for a successful, driven and passionate Business Development Manager to promote our platform product (Macquarie WRAP) to the intermediary market (IFA/Dealer Groups).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing a panel of existing intermediary clients and driving new business growth
  • Prospecting for new clients, identifying opportunities and providing leads
  • Working with intermediaries including IFAs, Dealer Groups, Accountants and Stockbrokers, to source and grow business and relationships with these groups
  • Building long-term relationships and developing an understanding of your clients' business in order to provide them with solutions
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders across the broader Macquarie business.

About you

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:
  • Strong Business Development Manager or Sales Management experience in the Wealth Management industry
  • Experience working with Dealer Groups/ Independent Financial Advisors (IFA) or as one will be highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, accounting or a related discipline
  • RG146 mandatory
  • Previous exposure to Platforms/ Wrap products and a comprehensive understanding of the market
  • Sound knowledge of Superannuation and Financial Planning
  • Proven results in a sales based environment
