Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior GL Accountant for an exciting opportunity with one of our Client – well established international Company in GL team in Cracow.
Senior GL Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Performing period end close activities,
- Preparing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations,
- Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the company’s global accounting,
- Preparing Tax Reports - VAT, CIT and other local reports,
- Intercompany, payroll, fixed assets accounting,
- Calculating and processing journal vouchers,
- Reporting Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) in ERP systems,
- Daily cooperation with the local team, building a strong network within Finance organization,
- Taking part in process improvements,
- Assisting with external and internal audit queries.
- Support other team members using knowledge and experience.
- Experience in the role of GL Accountant (minimum 3 years),
- Higher education, preferably Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting etc.,
- Knowledge of end-to-end GL process,
- Very good knowledge of English,
- Knowledge of VAT principles (person on this position will be responsible for Polish accounting),
- Strong analytical skills,
- Working knowledge of ERP accounting systems (e.g. SAP),
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint).
