Sr. Financial Analyst – Advertising & Consumer PromotionJob DescriptionPOSITION PURPOSEKimberly–Clark is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Finance professional to be the Advertising & Consumer Promotion (A) CFO for a business unit. The ideal candidate will lead the financial planning and analysis for A aspects that focuses on investment and reduction levers (playbook), measurement, competitive insights and controls. This will include ensuring the proper financial analysis and performance analytics are being tracked and return of investment goals are met. They will support overall A financial management through variance analysis and gap management, risk and opportunity identification, and assessment of investment health.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESManage A financials, including monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of advertising and consumer promotion programs. Implement the standard monthly forecast process including: channel and vehicle analysis and recommendations, current plan tracking and recommendations to resolve issues and gap management. Actively participate in the LEAN Forecast Management System (FMS) to identify and drive process improvement opportunities, and maintain forecast accuracy in line with FMS annual goals. Lead the analysis and reporting of A results and trends on a regular basis to brand teams and senior leaders. Deliver accurate forecasts to support effective decision making and enable brand Revenue Management improvement goals. Partner with Revenue Management and Brand Marketing to execute A initiatives aligned with strategies. Support Data Driven Marketing analytics to optimize and improve channel Return on Investment. Responsible for effective implementation of financial policies and instructions, and the establishment, maintenance and audit of effective and reliable control procedures and standard work.BUSINESS PARTNERSThe Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Finance Team Leader. Important relationships include partnering with Brand Marketing, Finance, Insights & Analytics, Performance Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management. They will also work closely with Global Business Services to deliver visual management that monitors the health of brand A investments and conformance to plan.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance or related fieldStrong business judgment, problem–solving and analytical skills (applied intelligence and func/tech competencies)Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize strategic corporate tools and processes for data analysisExperience with short and long–term financial forecasting and analysis of change methodologyStrong oral, written and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident, and results–oriented communications and presentationsDemonstrated leadership skills to drive change cross–functionallyExceptional ability to influence without authorityA proven track record of high performanceDemonstrated organizational skills to manage functional workload, multiple priorities, and competing time demandsAdvanced computer skills using Excel and PowerPoint to prepare communications, financial spreadsheets and presentationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in BusinessAt least five years of relevant experience in Finance or Advertising or Consumer Promotion managementExperience working and influencing in a matrix organizationCPG industry experienceStrong Marketing IQ, especially with emerging trends in digital and other non–traditional channelsSelf–motivated with a sense of curiosity and continuous improvement mindsetKimberly–Clark and its well–known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries.
