Ledgent is seeking an Accountant II to join our Nonprofit client in the Tigard area! This position is responsible for assisting with month–end close, fixed assets and expense reporting. This is a contract role with a minimum duration of 8 months with the potential to be hired on permanently.

  • Prepare journal entries for fixed assets and prepaids
  • Review general ledger transactions for month–end
  • Process adjusting journal entries
  • Perform monthly financial statement analysis
  • Oversee and review accounts payable transactions
  • Review expense reimbursement requests and credit card statements
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliations
  • Provide fixed asset data for annual budget
  • Prepare ad–hoc data requests and reporting
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Assist with annual audit preparation
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principals
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Experience in Healthcare or Nonprofit is a plus, but not required
