Job Description
We are partnered with a well-known CPA firm in Irvine that is seeking an entry-level accountant to join their growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity for those that are seeking mentorship from CPAs. As the entry level accountant, you'll be responsible for serving a growing client base with their financials.
Job duties:
- General bookkeeping functions including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Assist with annual corporate tax returns.
- Assist our clients with payroll including preparing quarterly and annual payroll reports and coordinating tax payments.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
- 0-3 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service experience preferred.
- Candidate must be extremely organized and able to multi-task.
- Candidate must be able to work at a fast pace and work on multiple jobs concurrently.
- Excellent computer aptitude and proficiency is required.
- Programs utilized are QuickBooks, Accounting CS, ProSystem fx Tax, and MS Excel
