Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a part-time Accounting Intern to assist the Accounts Payable team in getting vendor invoices recorded and paid. The position is located in our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ.

Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a part-time Accounting Intern to assist the Accounts Payable team in getting vendor invoices recorded and paid. The position is located in our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable email box (approx. 15 hours per week - around 400 emails)
- Saving electronics invoices to the t-drive
- Responding to vendor requests for payment status
- Forwarding urgent emails to the appropriate AP team member
- Weekly electronic filing of paid invoices to the corresponding vendor folder (2 hours per week)
- Scanning paper invoices received by mail to the T-drive (1-2 hours per week)
- Monthly mailing of estimated tax payments (1 hour per month)
- Identifying vendors who can be signed up for ACH payments and update the ACH sign-up schedule to send to Wells Fargo.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working towards a BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be self-driven, creative, and motivated to build new skills and grow
Physical/Work Environments
- Employee will primarily be working in an office environment
- Sitting for an extended period of time
- Some walking between facilities
- Employee will frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
