Finance and Accounting Intern

This internship is a 12 week program commencing in June 2021. As a Finance and Accounting Intern, you will work directly alongside our Finance team, actively learning and completing various tasks/projects related to all Finance activities for all locations, countries, and companies. You will be responsible for bank account reconciliations, Concur expenses and invoices, creating reports, maintaining activity, and other duties as needed.

Primary Responsibilites:
  • Download and Allocate daily Concur Invoice extracts
  • Download and Allocate Concur AP Cards weekly extracts
  • Maintain daily activity for SureCarz in SAGE
  • Prepare monthly/weekly SureCarz Reports for Winn
  • Maintain daily activity for ROR Solutions LLC in SAGE
  • Prepare monthly/weekly ROR Solutions Reports for Geri
  • Prepare monthly Trial Balances for all entities for Month End Review/Analytics
  • Investigate and provide information for significant changes in the TB's month over month
  • Bermuda Bank Reconciliation
  • China Bank Reconciliation
  • Cap Strat Expense Bank Account Reconciliation
  • China Broker Dealer Bank Account Reconciliation
  • AIT Bank Account Reconciliation
  • Download/Allocate weekly Concur Individual Expense Extracts
  • Post all Concur Invoice payments with automatic matching to Concur Invoices
  • Create new dimensions for Teams/Individuals/Events/Offices
  • Create new vendors in SAGE
  • Prepare Monthly Consolidation File (Non-Quarter End Months)
  • Run the FX Conversion for UK and China Entities
  • Record UK monthly FX reversal for US GAAP/IFRS purposes
  • Prepare monthly Cash & Loan File
  • Assist with invoice processing at month end
  • Record monthly manual entries
  • Assist with Ad hoc requests
  • Assist with Board/Senior Weekly exhibit presentations

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration - Finance, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written
