Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As a Business Analyst Intern in the Salt Lake County Assessor's Office, you will be part of the implementation team for a new Property Tax system for Salt Lake County. Following Agile practices, you will perform multiple tasks including development of user procedures and training materials, testing of conversion data, and user testing of software functionality.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
You must be currently enrolled or have graduated within the last two-years in an undergraduate or graduate program with a major in Business, Marketing, Communications or other communications or business-oriented discipline; or have experience with developing procedures, training materials, software testing, or property tax systems. You must be a fast learner, self-motivated and able to work remotely and productively with limited direction. You must be to work at least 12 hours per week and have access to a PC and the internet.

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of29 hours or less per week oran average of129 hours or less per month.

- Develop training materials using PowerPoint and audio/visual editing tools
- Performs user tests on web applications
- Develop user procedures
- Use presentation, spreadsheet and word processing software
- Participate as team member following Agile practices
PAID INTERN POSITIONS:
An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of29 hours or less per week oran average of129 hours or less per month.

- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
- Are not considered merit employees.
- Are "at will" employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
