Are you the one we are looking for? Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Credit Analyst Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible to retrieve and analyze financial statements to allow US based credit analyst to perform credit review and portfolio management functions -
  • Read through monthly financial reports and capture relevant line items from Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow in customized excel model and evaluate most recent changes to financial position.
  • Review whether the Credit Monitor reflects accurate quantitative information for Firm's internal portfolio management system
  • Update Latest Deal related news since "Original Close"
  • Review accuracy and relevance of the "Financial Performance" section
  • Map the "Latest Capital Structure" section to reflect the latest capital structure in line with the latest reported financials (Annual/Interim)
  • Update the Covenants section with notes and review whether the compliance status is reported accurately
  • Update the "Mark" & Notional Exposure information in the designated places to conform completeness
  • Post initial set-up of Credit Monitor, regularly update the monitor with interim financials and in case of any changes to the capital structure advised by Firm with -
  • The latest Interim financials and rolling information for the YTD (Current, Prior) & LTM
  • The latest Capital Structure analysis
  • Financial analysis and related commentary to summarize financial performance of the borrower
  • Get along with US based portfolio managers independently on a regular basis to discuss and resolve queries
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
  • MBA Finance/CA/CFA
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA Finance
  • Comfortable with interpretation of miscellaneous financial report formats as input documents.
  • Quantitative thinking and the ability to work with a large number of variables.
  • Proficiency in information search and interpretation skills.
  • Good proven understanding of MS Excel - must have
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
  • Should possess a personality and have an analytical bent of mind
  • Should be able to handle communication with customer from US region over the phone
  • Must be flexible for 12 pm to 9 pm shift.
