The Head of Internal Audit is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for the planning, execution and delivery of internal audits for Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN), including formulating and implementing the network's internal audit frameworks, plans and procedures that impact on whole of network operations, also providing expert advice, consultancy and recommendations on internal audit, assurance matters to executives, divisions and services within the NALHN.
The incumbent will prepare the annual and three year detailed risk-based Internal Audit Plan for approval by the CEO and Audit and Risk Committee to the Board, using an integrated and coordinated risk based approach in development of the plans, and the ability to analyse complex issues with clear and logical development of arguments and presentation of well supported conclusions and recommendations, having a Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or other related discipline is essential.
