About the team

The Corporate Services division supports the organisation with expert advice and support in Financial, IT, Strategic, Legal, Commercial, Property and Procurement matters. We partner to provide sustainable strategies, solutions and services, enabling our clients to deliver Transport's vision of making NSW a great place to live, work and play.

The opportunity

Right now, we have a 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Legal Practice unit. It is currently the only Business Analyst role within the Legal Privacy & Information Access branch and plays a critical role in reporting, analysis of performance trends and issues and strategic advice to support legal services decision making, planning and delivery of services.

Transport Legal has responsibility for managing the whole of Government Legal Services Panel which contains 40 service providers. The Legal Panel Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an integrated legal information database, designed to store all relevant legal data, statistics and to ensure data integrity in undertaking business analysis and performance in relation to the NSW Government Legal Services Panel and branch reporting generally.

About you

You are a seasoned Business Analyst who demonstrates extensive reporting skills and experience analysing datasets to draw out meaningful insights and trends. You have proven experience developing and maintaining a database and you also have advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite including Excel, VBA, PowerBI and corporate systems such as SAP or similar.

You are assertive with a can-do attitude and commercial outlook. You have high level communication skills and are capable of building effective relationships with relevant stakeholders as well as managing deadlines and competing priorities.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 9A ($135,898) - 9E ($152,204) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
