Sales Ledger Clerk
Page Personnel are recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a rapidly expanding company based in Sale.
A well established company, with further exciting growth plans are recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team.
You will begin by working in a fast paced Sales Ledger Team, before taking on additional responsible and developing into an Accounts Assistant role over time.
As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for working closely with the Credit Controller to ensure all clients are billed and debt is minimised.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: daily cash receipt posting; cash allocation; account reconciliations; opening new customer accounts; completing credit checks; raise customer invoices; respond to and resolve queries; process credit card payments; chase overdue debt; reporting on aged debtors.
The successful candidate will:
- Have knowledge of working in a finance role including Sales Ledger processing - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
