Job Summary
Responsible for investigating and resolving issues for assigned departments, preparation of monthly variance analysis, account analysis, budget preparation of assigned departments and lead analyst of cost accounting process and system. Responsible for completing financial and statistical surveys. Develops various proformas and analysis to assist management in decision-making. Assists Accounting Director with budget process, reimbursement analysis, audit work papers, survey response, monthly financials, report writing, and statistical analysis. Performs various duties assigned according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.
Education:Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in accounting or in another related field with all accounting courses required for an Accounting degree.
Job Knowledge: Requires considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and some knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and managed care provisions preferred.
