Your opportunity

Our Greater Vancouver offices are looking for Senior Accountants to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:

• Working independently, effectively plan, organize and execute review and compilation engagements in various industries;,
• Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to client requests;
• Coordination of tax assignments including preparation of corporate tax returnsand discussion with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met;
• Ensuring that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager orPartner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement, and;
• Following-up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, Notice of Assessments, and GST HST matters.

Your experience and education

• You have completed your CPA designation;
• You have 4 years of accounting experience in the public accounting industry;
• You have experience with reviews, compilations, and preparing corporate tax returns required;
• You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work, and
• You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
