Your new role
Reporting to the operations manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Accounts payable (through to approval)
- Accounts receivable duties inclusive of debt collection and debtor management
- Bank and credit card reconciliations weekly
- Payroll support: payroll processing, leave calculations, accruals and prepayments
- Month end assistance: account reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, journals
- Query management pertaining to accounts
- Customer service and administrative support inclusive of: admin emails, maintenance of CRM, data maintenance and analysis
- Adhoc duties as directed
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role under Australian laws and regulations
- Relevant qualifications pertaining to accounts such as diploma or certificate of bookkeeping
- XERO expertise essential
- Experience working within an SME environment
- Keen interest in social activities such as volunteering highly desirable
- Business acumen and interest in business
- Collaborative nature, friendly and a team player
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
- Confident, honest and ability to multitask
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
