Employees are all working from home currently but when applicable, you will travel to the offices in Melbourne's north. The Role
This is a newly created position to support with the organisations rapid expansion from an SME to a multi entity corporation. It's a varied and challenging role which reports directly to the CFO.
Interviews taking place from mid-October. Full training will be provided from home if applicable.

The Role

Typical day to day duties will involve:
- Overseeing and supporting with end to end payroll for up to 600 staff
- Supporting with the development of a new payroll software package
- Management of a small payroll team (1-2 staff)
- Responsibility for Workcover, superannuation, payroll tax
- Initiating process improvement and necessary systems change
- Dealing with complex payroll queries
- Award/EBA interpretation
- Overseeing processes around new hires, terminations and adjustments

Your Profile
You will have a background in Payroll Management with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- Experience overseeing payroll staff
- End to end payroll experience
- Exposure to payroll systems implementation
- Ability to suggest improvements to processes, systems and procedures
- Comfortable reaching Melbourne's northern suburbs
- Ambitious and happy in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
