The Role Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall Corporate Finance (CF)/Leveraged & Structured Solutions (LSS) strategy, providing support to senior management
• Lead LSS transactions working with client teams and across products to cross-sell and execute deals
• Organize and drive business success through improvement in client penetration and profitability in conjunction with coverage partners
• Oversee robust deal selection, conflict resolution and risk management to ensure the business is consistent with the strategy and risk appetite of the Bank
• Ensure transaction structures are in line with client requirements, market standards and the Bank's internal risk parameters
• Monitor and deliver financial performance targets, optimizing risk and return
• Manage business and risk management process issues by interacting (where required) with representatives on various risk, governance and control committees
• Actively support origination in the region working in conjunction with client coverage teams to generate ideas and pitch to clients
• Provide oversight on key transactions to ensure 'world class' execution of deals in the region

Our Ideal Candidate

• Relevant experience in leveraged finance, investment banking or associated discipline
• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Strong transactional experience with a proven track record of financial modelling, deal execution, credit/risk evaluation, financial analysis and credit writing skills
• Good knowledge of loan documentation and negotiation experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of lending products and corporate finance structuring techniques
• Prior marketing and execution experience; strong analytical skills, working with internal and external counsel
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, adhering to tight deadlines
