The client is a contract transportation company who due to growth are seeking a Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis at their offices located in Dunmow.
The client is a contract transportation company who after a period of growth are looking to add a permanent Bookkeeper to run the whole accounts package to their new site.
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Monthly management accounts (accruals, prepayments, budgets, forecasts)
- Reconciliation (bank, cashbook, fixed-asset)
- VAT returns
- Taking accounts up to trial balance
The successful candidate will have working knowledge of the key responsibilities taking accounts from transactional reports up to and including trial balance and be able to commute to the client offices in Dunmow for full-time work. Working knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous and holding the AAT qualification equally so.
