An exciting Finance Controlling Manager job opportunity for a leading well known organisation in Malaysia.
Client Details
Our client has strong presence in the country. Due to expansion of the business, they are currently looking for an experience Finance Controlling Manager expert that is heavily involved in the full sets of accounts and analysis work which includes costing, business partnering and stakeholder management activities. Candidate will work closely with the GM of Operations to make strategic business decisions.
Description
As this role is essential to the organisation, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:
• Lead and oversee the overall finance function in the plant.
• Ensure full completion of company's financial reporting according to Group deadlines.
• Perform all FP&A, analysis and controlling activities for the plant including management reporting activities.
• Provide detail cost of goods sold, product costing analysis and Inventory material ledger movement analysis.
• Analyse and interpret operational and accounting data as to explain variations and trends in relation to previous
periods, budgets and forecasts.
• Lead and prepare local annual budget and periodic forecasting.
• Working closely and support Production in improving process efficiencies and controlling of Conversion costs.
• Cash flow and working capital management.
• Responsible for year-end closing and liaison with external auditors for annual financial audit.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal
controls.
Profile
The ideal Finance Controlling Manager will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must posses the below requirements;
• A qualified accounting professional with ACCA/CIMA/CPA certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 to 12 years' relevant working experience from manufacturing industry.
• Well versed with the full spectrum of accounting, analysis and costing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen with outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong business partner to the operations.
