We are recruiting for an AVP for the Equity and Security Services team to support the Prime Finance & Delta One business. The candidate will partner with key stakeholders in the Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and other Finance functions to execute Product Control's responsibilities and mission statement.The individual is also responsible for proactively driving the design and adoption of best-in-class controls, process optimization and innovation projects across the broader Product Control organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Finance
  • Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
  • Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in finance, mathematics, engineering or computer science preferred
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial industry
  • Experience in digital analytic tools and programming language such as Python a plus
  • Experience in collaborating with a team of individuals in different locations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills with experience driving projects, and ability to implement change in a cross-functional environment
  • Thrives in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment and effectively prioritizes to meet deadlines
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
