- Review of draft financial statements to ensure disclosures are in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reporting jurisdiction
- Work closely with fund accountants to ensure timeliness of financial statements reporting deliverables
- Prepare risk-based capital reports for delivery to the clients on a timely basis
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding regulations and best practices and sharing with the relevant stakeholders
- Provide support to external/internal audit review
- Responding to client and/or auditor relating to financial statements and risk-based capital reporting
- Assist with internal control review and Identify loopholes and recommend risk/control aversion measures
- Engage in projects and UAT process relating to process enhancement
- Good degree in Accounting, Business or related accounting qualifications
- Recognized professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA or ACCA would be advantageous
- Preferably two to three years of relevant work experience, particularly in financial statements preparation and/or audit experience in an accounting firm. (Fresh grad with strong accounting background are welcome to apply)
- Familiarity with financial reporting requirements under IFRS and other applicable regulatory provisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to plan and manage assignments in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Essential attributes include excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is a must; whilst familiarity with Excel-Macro will be an advantage
- Knowledge on preparation of Net Asset Valuation for investment funds will be an advantage but not a must
