Your duties and responsibilities as finance reporting and data assistant will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic Train Operating Company (TOC) payments for certification and authorisation
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive database to facilitate the sharing of TOC financial information to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Sourcing relevant financial information for use in a variety of returns and reports for government and rail industry stakeholders
- Assisting in the preparation of trend analysis & financial projections for the Passenger Services Senior Leadership Team

- Confident in using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
- Passionate about personal development and committed to working towards completion of a Level 3 Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification

- Be aged 16 or older
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have been a resident in the UK/EA/EEA continuously for 3-years before starting the apprenticeship
- Have left full-time education when the apprenticeship starts
- Not be in receipt of funding for other learning programmes (including another apprenticeship).
- Hold a minimum of 5 GCSE's including Mathematics and English or equivalents
