Job Description
An industry leading company with excellent benefits and long-term stability is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will join a stable organization and play a key role in their continued growth. Your responsibilities as a Staff Accountant will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:
1. Preparing daily account reconciliations.
2. Maintaining fixed asset schedules.
3. Preparing month-end general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
4. Assisting with annual external audit.
5. Preparing job cost reports.
Requirements
The ideal Staff Accountant should meet the following minimum requirements:
1. At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
2. Strong understanding of GAAP.
3. ERP experience.
4. Strong Excel skills.
5. Steady work history.
6. Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent GAAP experience.
