Group Audit Internship Summer 2021

Zurich is currently looking for a Group Audit Intern to work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor.

This position will be responsible for:

• Group Audit Innovation related projects helping to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal audit function

Other development opportunities:

• Understand best practices in Internal Audit in a large globally operating Internal Audit practice
• Further develop project management skills
• May have some opportunities to work on data science/data analytics projects using large data sets
• Coordinate the audit teams internal social media activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Information Technology, Data Science or related field
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2021
• Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
• Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills in customer focused environment
• Quick Learner
• Experience in a leadership role
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong interest in the insurance industry
