The Financial Planning & Analysis ("FP&A") Manager's primary responsibilities are performing detailed analyses for forecasting the company's financial performance. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining forecasting tools, monthly financial drivers analysis, and detailed analyses on cost optimization. Must have a strong Excel and financial modeling skills. Capable of developing budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting. He or she will also be responsible for managing large projects for the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the executive leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan

• Work with Business Unit heads to build and manage their annual budgets and forecasts

• Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors

• Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance

• Utilizing financial system tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance

• Communicate to executive management the reasons behind the performance and results

• Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet analysis describing drivers to financial performance

• Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives

• Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions

• Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

• Communicating results and recommendations to executive management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations

• Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

• 7+ years relevant analytical experience required

- 2+ years of supervisory/management experience

• Advanced Excel and math skills required

• Experience using multiple accounting systems

• Experience using financial report writer tools beneficial

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management with varying degrees of financial knowledge.

• Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail required.

• High degree of initiative and flexibility required to successfully accommodate deadlines.

• Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation

• Ability to multi-task large projects

• Ability to be decisive and work well under pressure
