Role: Business Analyst
Skill: Telecom Domain - OSS & Network
Location: Melbourne

Short Description : Engaging with key stakeholders and providing knowledge, experience and thought leadership in Telecom O2A, R2R/T2R, Fulfilment/Assurance, Orchestration, Catalog, Inventory, TMF Open APIs, ETSI, ONAP, Open loop and closed loop fault & fallout management patterns, platforms (Opensource and COTS) and solution implementation & principles.

Skill/ Competency Requirements:
  • Designs and implements business analysis strategy, policies and proposals.
  • Designs and implements change management programs where appropriate.
  • Prepares and develops business case proposals for business change programs.
  • Models, appraises and presents business/systems options for business improvement against identified technical or business problem scenarios.
  • Develops and manages stakeholder relations and communications.
  • Translates business objectives into associated requirements.
  • Leads the procurement process; managing the quality and effectiveness of services against agreed Service Level Agreements with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Defines and completes large-scale or complex IT projects to cost, timescale and quality following applicable standards and procedures for project management and reporting.
  • Provides advice, assistance and guidance to programs and project teams delivering new IT projects and effective management of installed IT systems.
  • Analyses relationships between activities to enable the understanding of dependencies within organizations and supply chains.
  • Ensures that high standards of customer service are provided and maintained to the highest level possible.
  • Opensource platform exposure like ONAP
  • COTS platform experience/exposure like Ericsson, Amdocs ASMS, Ciena, FlowOne etc.
  • TMF Open APIs adoption and onboarding experience for network domains and services
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Min 10+ years of overall IT experience in Telecom domain (OSS/BSS),
  • TMF Open APIs adoption and onboarding experience for network domains and services
  • Able to handle responsibilities of O2A Solution designer with key focus on Order Orchestration and Order Management.
  • Strong experience of working in product and service modelling space
  • Continuous life cycle improvement solution charter - ideation, problem/opportunity identification, analysis and solution definition.
  • Requirement & System Analysis, System Design, Development & Review Responsibilities.
  • Creates, consult and reviews Functional Requirements, Architectural Decisions, architecture solution to meet project requirement.
  • Architecture patterns understanding, definition and presentation to customer internal teams and SDOs
  • Conduct Discovery workshops and prepare high level functional documentation to ensure effective solution development.
  • Backlog Grooming, Planning, Prioritization and Product Roadmap
  • Develops and manages stakeholder relations and communications.
  • Translates business objectives into associated requirements.
  • Ensures that high standards of customer service are provided and maintained to the highest level possible.
Essential :
  • Have a good understanding of OSS/BSS in telecom domain, Fulfillment, Orchestration, O2A, Order management experience.
  • Experience in Business analysis, Requirements elicitation, creating EPIC, User stories in JIRA.
  • Expertise in Business and System Analysis. Good understanding of Telecom Domain IT landscape, concepts and exposure across various stages of software development life cycle with Agile Methodology.
  • Have a good understanding of JIRA, Agile principles and practices.
  • Architecture patterns understanding and definition experience
