As part of our continued plans for growth within the business we have created a new position for a Controls Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our controls and exposure to risk with allocated sites. You will manage the events report of the control framework and carry out independent control assessments for select sites and develop action plans and monitor progress. Liaising with the business assurance team, you will review compliance and noncompliance of controls.

You will be an effective communicator who is confident in liaising with key audit contacts both on site at client premises and remotely using video-conferencing and other technology. Your expertise will be required to recommend new or makes changes to controls as part of the event report. You will be responsible for identifying, analysing and documenting control weaknesses and making recommendations to address these and to add value. You will be confident understanding key risks and controls based on your experience and knowledge of best practice.

In terms of experience, we would like you to have had proven practice in designing and implementing control frameworks. Your role will have a business partnering element as you present information and updates with senior management.
