Middle Office Analyst is a position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the respective Middle Office team. The overall objective of this role is to provide support with processes surrounding securities, cash, fund orders and voluntary corporate actions.

Middle Office Analyst is a position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to traders, in coordination with the respective Middle Office team. The overall objective of this role is to provide support with processes surrounding securities, cash, fund orders and voluntary corporate actions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Middle Office processes supporting investment funds' activity in the capital markets. Team's service includes confirmation and settlement of institutional clients' instructions, investigation and resolution of any inconsistencies across multiple platforms; Supporting clients' inquiries and providing transaction reporting and auxillary activities;
- Foster strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders, including Oversight teams, by demonstrating committed inclusion in relevant forums, projects, business developments;
- Ensure high quality of service delivered to the clients;
- Matching client trade instructions with the confirmations from brokers
- Investigation of discrepancies between the above
- Sending and monitoring the settlement/payment instructions to custodian banks
- Active and independent searching for and implementation of new, better solutions among the given processes
- Supporting co-workers in solving problems and assuring continuity of provided service.
- Providing training and introducing new employees to the process;
- Participation in business initiatives, client on-boarding and documenting new processes;
- Ensure all Team procedures and audit requirements are updated, completed and maintained across all Clients and processes;
- Ensure all issues / potential issues that could have negative impact on the performance and image of the department are escalated appropriately and in a timely manner;
- Ensure the effective Management Information System reporting for the serviced area is in place, if necessary effective participation in conference calls
- Proactive controls and actions targeting at minimizing processing risk;
- Take ownership over resolution of the unusual queries and issues reported by the client;
- Ensure process is compliant with local and global regulations;
- Encourage positive and professional working environment;
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed within given timeframes;
- Additional business oriented tasks requested by manager
- Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in institutions linked to capital markets preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting preferred
- Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions
- Proven success with working in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
- ACCA certificate would be an additional asset
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
