Well regarded professional services firm seeking an Audit Quality & Methodology Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed term contract with the view to go permanent. Seeking someone who can assist with refreshing the methodology that the external auditors employ in their engagements. Familiarity with either the AASB or ASQC standards will be beneficial. This role will also play an exciting role in business improvements and new technology projects.

Responsibilities (summarised)
- Identify and improve audit methodologies
- Develop new audit and assurance templates
- Contribute to various projects and continues improvements initiatives - Including new technologies
- Develop and implement the firm's strategic goals
- Partner with key stakeholders and committees including the Exec Team, Risk, Suppliers and Peers from other locations.
- Provide direction to more junior staff with regards to audit methodology and other projects
- Provide advice to the External/Internal Audit teams where required
Requirements (summarised)
- Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or international equivalent)
- At least 5 year's experience within Audit, Assurance or a similar role
- Previous experience improving audit methodologies
- Familiarity with the AASB or ASQC standards is highly beneficial
- Candidates with experience in an Audit Quality role will be held in high regard
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
