Join this leading manufacturer who specialise producing an innovative product that is growing in momentum. With purpose built facilities in the Northern Gold Coast region they are currently on the market for a Financial Accountant to complete the Finance Team.
Your new role
Reporting and supporting the Finance Manager you will also assume responsibility for the work of a small team who manage the creditor and debtor ledgers. Your main duties include; Prepare month-end adjusting journals and balance sheet reconciliations, Assist with monthly financial statements, reviewing intercompany transactions and reporting, Preparation of cashflow statements and monitor cash expenditure, Statutory compliance; Prepare BAS, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, WorkCover, Payroll processing and Fixed Asset Register maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has strong communications skills as you will liaise with a number of internal and external stake holders including insurance brokers, ASIC, external auditors and banks. The pace is fast with high volumes of transactions; you are organised and problem solving orientated. It is essential for the successful candidate to be Degree qualified within Accounting or Finance, ERP system exposure and advanced Excel skills are critical. Mandarin speaking will be advantageous.
