Senior Finance Analyst - Sql

job description Superb opportunity to take the lead in change management. Bring your concrete financial reporting expertise, along with your ability to work through large scale volumes of transactions flowing through systems daily. Using your ability to read and write SQL code to provide relevant insights into other areas of the business.

• Ability to read and write SQL code
• Solid experience in engaging with internal stakeholders to drive teams through change
• Business / accounting and IT degree level qualifications

Your key duties will include, but not limited to:

• Delivery of accurate and timely financial reports to internal & external stakeholders / customers of the business
• Periodically review systems to identify and implement process improvements
• Ensure large-scale volume of transactions flowing through systems every day, efficiently and accurately reflect in finance systems
• Ensure that Finance systems within portfolio meet all regulatory and compliance requirements
• Work closely with internal and external system delivery teams ensuring finance systems are configured to operate in line with finance needs

About you: You are a natural forward thinking leader with the ability to drive change among teams and identify areas for process re-engineering improvements. You will also build effective links between other business units within the business and pride yourself on your robust understanding of database query and systems analysis.

Your skills and attributes include:

• Ability to think on your feet , self motivated,forward thinking who thrives working independently
• Experience with SQL (able to read and write the code)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Current or previous experience in the super / financial services sector is highly beneficial
