Responsibilities:
- you are responsible for end to end payroll processing
- you are responsible for all Superannuation and payroll tax requirements
- you understand and interpret relevant Awards and you can apply relevant legislation including classification, wages, hours and overtime penalties, allowances, conditions and leave entitlements
- you are responsible for payroll reconciliations
- you can design and implement processes to improve efficiencies
- you conduct regular audits of all payroll processes
- you manage ATO responsibilities
- you are responsible for all payroll administration
- you provide reports as required by Finance and HR
- you communicate regularly with senior leaders to provide and receive improvement feedback
- you provide strong leadership
Your skill-set:
- You have experience in implementing new Payroll and Time and Attendance programs
- you have experience in managing direct reports
- You have a strong experience in payroll in a large corporate group
- you have a high level of knowledge of payroll compliance and how to operate a complex payroll
- you have strong Excel skills
