We are recruiting exclusively for an a Chief Accountant (Must be qualified) and although this role is based in Wiltshire, the role will be home based so location is not an issue.
My client needs you to to take responsibility for the provision of accurate, effective and efficient financial accounting records and the resultant production of the council's Statement of Accounts and the relevant government returns.
The role is the technical lead for the central finance function coordinates the production of accounts, treasury management, banking, VAT & Tax and the Chart of Accounts under the direction of the head of corporate finance.
In short my client needs a competent strategic chief financial accountant with previously public sector experience, who is used to having responsibility for a large financial budget and is looking to take on a new challenging role.
