The Company
Our client is a market leading specialist manufacturing group enjoying considerable growth. They are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to work closely with the Managing Director taking full responsibility for the finance function.
The Role
You will manage all management and financial accounting processes, providing all required reporting information to the Managing Director. Whilst managing a small team, key responsibilities will include:
* Management of all accounts payable & sales ledger processes, credit control and allocation of cash.
* Weekly & Monthly payroll and completion of P11D tax forms and other statutory returns
* Preparation of month end accounts, VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
* Liaison with external auditors and management of the annual audit process.
The Candidate
Qualified by experience with excellent bookkeeping skills and experience of preparing management accounts you must be "hands on" with experience of working in SME environment. Clarity in written and verbal communication with the ability to articulate financial issues in an easily understandable fashion is also key to the role. With strong IT skills you will be a true team player capable of flexibility and application to tasks at a variety of different levels
