Robert Walters are delighted to have been engaged by a leading business based in Southampton to assist in recruiting for a Commercial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an incredible opportunity for a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join an exceptional business who despite current circumstances, are still experiencing huge levels of growth.

This is a newly created role within the Finance function and would be the perfect role for either a Newly Qualified Accountant or someone with a couple of years' PQE, who is interested in a role with an equal mix of technical and business partnering exposure.

Job deliverables include:

Ensuring accurate corporate and commercial reporting across various projects. Contract review and preparation to be reviewed by various managers for sign off Assist in establishing various pricing and reporting structures cross function Supporting launches of products into new markets Responsible for establishing the accounting for new entities Working with the Treasury and FX functionThe successful candidate will have:

Degree educated with professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong understanding of group and corporate finance principles and experience with an ability to deliver commercial insights and commentary to a rapidly moving part of the business. Ability to work as an effective business partner with a collaborative and flexible style Understanding of taxation consequences as part of financial reporting
