Financial Accountant

Immoweb is the leading Belgian website for Real Estate classifieds; i.e. listings for the sale & rental of houses, apartments, offices, industrial buildings, building plots, garages,…. Immoweb federates and develops its activities based on the largest national audience and the best Real Estate offer coming from the private owners and the Real Estate Professionals (real estate agencies, property developers and notaries). Working with the Head of Accounting, you will perform the following tasks: Month-end closing processes: You will prepare the monthly closing of Immoweb SA You will draw up monthly VAT returns, quarterly MOSS returns and intra-community VAT returns Year-end closing processes and other periodic or annual tasks: Working closely with the Head of Accounting, you will carry out the year-end closing entries You will play an active part in the preparatory work for the external and internal interim and annual audits as necessary You will draw up forms 281.50 and 281.30 You will prepare the annual statement of employer's expenses You will complete the quarterly and/or annual statistical surveys initiated by the federal authorities Reporting and analysis: You will be responsible for entering the monthly financial results on the Axel Springer group's financial portal You will be responsible for inter-company reconciliations within the group You will work closely with the other members of the Finance and HR team (8 people) and the other departments of the company You will contribute and respond to various ad hoc financial requests/analyses Financial processes: You will record the purchase invoices You will ensure compliance with internal procedures within the company You will help improve the existing processes You hold a bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent You have at least 3 years of professional experience.
