The Opportunity
The position of Head of Finance will offer a clear line of progression into the Director of Finance role as the current encumberment transition into a purely operational & commercially focused leadership position. The role of Head of Finance is a wide ranging position offering excellent visibility and exposure to all area's of this highly performing business.
This opportunity would best suited an individual with aspirations to achieve a leadership position and has experienced of operating as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller within an SME environment.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:
- Reporting to and deputising for the Director of Finance
- Leading the finance function - AP, AR, Credit Control & payroll
- Business partnering with departmental heads across operations & commercial functions
- Involvement in a number of business critical projects
- Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
- Variance analysis
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Budget setting and monitoring
- KPI setting and monitoring
- Forecasting and cashflow analysis
- Reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls
- Assisting with financial systems developments
- Adhoc duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience of operating as Finance Manager or Financial Controller within an SME environment
- Ability to liaise, interact and influence senior stakeholders
- ERP systems exposure and strong user of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communications
