Head Of Finance

As a Gaming Commercial Strategy Analyst you will play a key role in assessing and influencing business decisions through the interpretation and communication of market and business intelligence.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for identifying and analysing new opportunities within the business. Undertaking the necessary analysis and working with wider stakeholders from a number of functional teams across marketing, product, tech and finance, you will prepare business cases and make recommendations on how to maximise opportunities or manage risk. Additionally, you will assist in the development of the Gaming strategy and support the management of third party relationships and manage contract negotiation / renewals on both new and existing opportunities.

What you will do...

• Work closely with multiple teams to ensure commercial opportunities are supported, analysed in the appropriate context and managed from inception through to execution
• Work with teams across the business to provide an analytical voice to aid development of commercial opportunities influencing decision making
• Analyse & interpret data to support and challenge business decisions and make actionable recommendations
• Leverage both external and internal knowledge from an array of channels to identify new opportunities for profitable growth
• Delivering pertinent analysis which is well-visualised for a range of senior stakeholders
• Commercial modelling to assess opportunities and risks underpinning business cases for stakeholders
• Interaction with colleagues at all levels of the business to present outcomes of analysis
• Contract negotiation with third parties and relationship management with content partners

Key skills...

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and report writing skills
• Highly analytical with a logical mind-set, forward-looking and engages in analysis, digs through the layers and arrives at actionable insights
• An inquisitive mind-set, comfortable challenging the status quo and provide opposing views to senior colleagues
• Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex analysis, and recommendations
• Ability to think strategically and identify commercial opportunities
• Previous experience within the online gambling industry is preferential but not essential
• Commercial modelling is preferential but not essential
