We have been developing and preparing for the implementation of our new payroll system (SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll), T&A system (Kronos) and HR system ( SuccessFactors) into EG Australia. We are looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our team and support the transactional processing of the national payroll for our Fuel, Food Service and Support operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN A SNAPSHOT

• Support the payroll team to ensure all payroll payments are captured accurately from payroll S4, banking and other systems;
• Fortnightly Single touch payroll lodgement ;
• Monthly payroll tax calculation and lodgments for all States;
• Leave provisions reconciliations, AASB reporting, and ABS Surveys and lodgment;
• Superannuation fund/clearing house management;
• Third-party vendor payments management, including PAYG, Super, Deductions and etc.
• Validating the payroll journals and adjustment journals before it flows to S4;
• Provide Insight to budget commentary and Balance sheet reconciliation ;
• Month-end support to finance team and inter-store cost recharge processes;
• Provide Payroll, reporting and costing related support across the EG business units.

• Exceptional attention for detail & accuracy;
• Solid payroll knowledge and applied knowledge of SAP payroll and S4 HANA is desirable;
• Ability to display sensitivity, discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters concerning remuneration and benefits;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
• Skilled in quickly and correctly understanding organizational requirements in terms of payroll & payroll accounting;
