Credit Life Insurance Claims Assessor My client from a leading Insurance concern is seeking a Credit Life Insurance Claims Assessor to join their team based in Durban, La Lucia.Duties:âú‚¬¢ Technically and medically asses Temporary and Permanent Occupational Disability Claims, as well as Death and Retrenchment Benefit Claims should the need ariseâú‚¬¢ Analyse and synopsise medical reports and other information in context of claimsâú‚¬¢ Telephonic interactions with claimants to obtain additional information as and when requiredâú‚¬¢ Interpret and apply the policy document terms and conditionsâú‚¬¢ Ensure that all criteria are met to pay valid claims and repudiate invalid claims whilst ensuring that proper processes are followed and that claim decisions are of high qualityâú‚¬¢ Drafting of repudiation lettersâú‚¬¢ Respond to complaintsRequirements:âú‚¬¢ Bachelor of Science (BSc): Occupational Therapy; or Bachelor of Science (BSc): Physical Therapyâú‚¬¢ A minimum of 2 years working experience in the Life Insurance Industry as a Claims Assessor with Disability Claim Assessment experienceâú‚¬¢ Must be a logical and analytical thinkerâú‚¬¢ Must be deadline driven and be able to work under pressureInterested and qualified candidates may send CVâú‚¬s to [Email Address Removed]Reference Number: JM 49004
