I'm currently working alongside a lead business in their recruitment of an Assistant Accountant on a 5 month FTC temp to perm. Paying £30-35k based on experience and based in Birmingham City Centre.

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Accountant:
Full end to end preparation of management accounts
Variance analysis and commentary
Balance sheet reconciliations
VAT returns
Cash flow forecasting
Assisting with preparing annual budgets
Year-end account preparation
Preparing audit packs and assisting with audits
The Successful Candidate will have the following:
At least two years' experience within a similar role
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS minimum)
Strong reconciliation skillset
Great communication skills
Able to work to deadlines
Currently studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
Able to start at short notice
Able to commute into the city centre
