Trade Promotion System Analyst

Things you should know about working as a Trade Promotion System Analyst:

The Trade Promotion Analyst is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the company's trade fund spends associated with national customers. The Trade Promotions Analyst is responsible for managing trade promotion spend expenses and providing financial and business analytical reporting. The Trade Promotion Analyst will have a comprehensive knowledge of trade promotion concepts, aptitude for computer applications and experience in areas of business analysis to ensure the customer accruals reflect authorized trade commitments, resulting in timely, accurate sales reporting and payment commitments. The Trade Promotion Analyst will also provide business support and consultation to the Customer Development teams, Region Managers, and Revenue Planning Management teams.

What would success look like?

• Review, research and maintain daily, monthly, annual and periodic system outputs, including listings for accruals, deductions, check requests, errors, and contract maintenance.

• Communicate and analyze accrual and payment performance to Customer Development Managers, Region Managers, RGM planners, and Accounts Payable and Receivables to help others understand, validate, or provide updates on accruals and payments.

• Provide business insights in the overall accrual performance within the MARS system to include variance analysis between actual results versus budgeted projections.

• Manage flex spending accruals for local and total system field customers to included analysis of spending compared to available funds as well as publishing timely reporting on the flex spending accruals to the locally managed field customers.

• Manage distribution and handling trade funds payments.

• Supervise and approve check requests for cash payments up to a defined maximum $, or interim approval if payment amount exceeds maximum.

• Manage distribution and handling trade funds payments.

• Create and manage invoices submitted to internal and external partners for payment reimbursement.

• Maintain Consolidated–Led CPACT agreements on behalf of total bottling system.

• Oversee the various SOX compliance documentation routines and other support projects as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 or more years' experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting

• Proficiency with MS software (Excel, etc.)

• Strong computer application aptitude to learn in house mainframe trade promotion finance system and other in–house sales systems

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience in financial applications preferred

• CPA preferred

• Ability to participate in a cross–functional environment inside and outside of CCCI

• Some combination of consumer products trade promotion or retail experience preferred
