Senior Manager, MFRS 17

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Involved full time on the MFRS 17 implementation project and work closely with the project team to ensure the project progress meets all the deadlines
Work out the double entries (posting rule) for MFRS 17 and refine MFRS 17 accounting policies
Perform expense study / cost allocation and chart of account mapping to ensure all required new chart of accounts under MFRS 17 are identified
Prepare the template of financial statement that are in compliance with MFRS 17
Evaluate, understand and build Business Data Requirement, and convert to user requirement for system enhancement
Develop UAT pack from sub-ledger to GL including test scenario, provide requirement during testing phase and provide support in testing output from sub-ledger to GL
Reconciliation between MFRS 4 vs MFRS 17
Liaise with financial reporting team
Identify and recommend on system and process enhancement
Provide MFRS 17 training to respective stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors' degree or equivalent, in Finance, or any related discipline
Qualified Chartered Accountant (MIA, ACCA, CPA, MICPA or ICAEW)
Minimum of 8 years' working experience in financial institutions (Banking or Insurance)
Technically sound on MFRS 17 and experienced in consulting or implementing MFRS 17 projects
Experience in implementing MFRS' adoption will be an added advantage
