Currently recruiting an excellent new role for a Group Financial Accountant for our client based in Cambridge. Due to continued international growth the business is now looking to appoint a good technical accountant.
You will be a fully qualified accountant ACA or ACCA from a practice background. The Group Financial Accountant is a key role within the Group Control function and ideal for a candidate passionate about the technical side of finance. Working within the finance function your role will be to provide support to the team and ensure the Group meets its reporting, tax and internal and external deadlines while maintaining high quality output.
The role will primarily cover the following:-
•Maintenance / reconciliation of financial records
•Work closely with auditors to provide quality information for yearend audit
•IFRS papers for audit (IFRS15, IFRS9, IFRS16)
•Annual and interim reports
•Development of Financial Accounting Processes / Controls
•Accurate and timely finalization of balance sheet including reconciliations on a monthly basis
•Assist with Corporate Governance and Compliance
You will have Excellent IT skills be highly competent in excel and word and be highly analytical and have strong attention to detail. In depth working experience of accounting standards and IFRS requirements essential.
