OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) seeks to identify a Senior Accounting Officer for a high profile and exciting new team, who will be responsible for providing financial support to the top geographic leadership of the KPMG firm related to accounting for and analyzing the cost of internal events, charitable contributions, client entertainment and gifts, in addition to long-term assignments.
This is an exciting role with high visibility, which promises a great opportunity to liaise with the top leadership of the KPMG firm in researching and providing solutions to its problem.
The role requires strong accounting and financial analysis skills; a strong customer service orientation, experience working with and learning how to use a variety of accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Successful candidates will need to exhibit these skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a keen ability to prioritize. In addition, they must be inquisitive, able to question and reason the "status quo" with the maturity and poise to interface with the senior leaders of the firm and their teams.
The position will be assigned to our rapidly growing KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), which provides services to our member Firm, KPMG LLP (the "Client"), in the United States.
