A listed technology & engineering business is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will report to the global Head of FP&A and provide financial planning support to the senior leadership team and a range of business areas. The Senior Financial Analyst will take ownership of the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles as well as monthly P&L analysts & reporting. In addition this individual will gain exposure to an extremely wide range of ad hoc projects. This is a high profile position within a lean team offering significant senior level exposure to the ExCo and Board.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role on implementing new processes, financial models and reporting packs in order to provide a better quality of data and information to the business. This individual will take the lead on large portions of the Board reports, reporting to the market and cash flow forecasting. The FP&A team is integral to every decision that is made across the organisation so the Senior Financial Analyst will gain superb exposure to the Board and senior management team across an international footprint.
The ideal profile will be a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with substantial post-qualified experience and a demonstrable track record within FP&A and business partnering. The client is willing to look at candidates from any industry sector. The most important thing is that the candidate has the relevant transferable experience at a corporate / group level and the character traits to operate as a business partner to senior management.
