Experienced Assistant Accountant required for a well-established business based in Barnsley.

Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:
* Maintaining the purchase ledger
* Checking and processing employee expenses
* Updating and maintaining the general ledger
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Bank reconciliations
* Accruals and prepayments
* Other ad hoc duties as required
This search is not limited to any industry. Strength of character, attitude and resilience are key to this recruitment process:
* The successful candidate will be AAT and looking to commence CIMA
* You must be IT literate with working knowledge of Excel
* You will have a keen interest in understanding all aspects of the business
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
