Your new role
Hays are partnering with a large Government Department to recruit a Website Personal Data Compliance Auditor in a contract role for 2-3 months. Within the role you will be expected to carry out website & application audits, write reports and advise the business on corrective actions. The aim of the audit is to check and regulate websites & applications in alignment with GDPR, DPA (data protection act) & PECR (the privacy and electronic communications regulations) regulations. You will work closely with Data protection managers and IT development teams whilst also liaising with Programme and project stakeholders. You will prepare website compliance reports for the business teams to action, and work with the project team to promote the correct use of cookies/personal data in line with regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the vacancy you will need experience of working in a similar role, adhering to DPA, GDPR AND PECR. You will also need excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as you will be dealing with customers, key stakeholders and technical staff at all levels. You must be familiar with audit and regulatory process and have experience in identifying risk issues. . Experience of working in a government department, or public sector adhering to GDS would be preferable but not essential.
What you'll get in return
In return you will get the opportunity to work in a large government department in an important contract. You will earn between £300 - £350 p/day (INSIDE SCOPE OF IR35) dependant on your experience, and work completely remotely for the entirety of the contract. You will also get the opportunity to work on future contracts for similar positions within the large government department, through working with Hays Recruitment.
