Weaver’s Audit practice is looking for Audit Interns to join their team. This is a full time internshipfromJanuary 2021throughApril 2021.Spring internshipsareavailable inDallas, Fort Worth, Houston, andAustin, San Antonio, and Midland. Weaver Audit Interns work closely with all experienced team members to perform audit procedures as assigned on engagements. This includes identifying and resolving issues encountered in performance of financial statement audits through effective and timely communication. Throughout this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with multiple industries, and guidance from leaders on the team.
A Weaver Audit Intern is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. We are looking for the best and brightest individuals, who are willing to learn and grow professionally.

Education and Skills
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, to obtain the hours required to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation
- Prior internship experience in public accounting is a plus
- Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Work, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
