Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst

Financial Investments

-Collecting, organizingand analyzing financial, market, research, economic, industry and other relevant data to be used in investment evaluations, performance appraisals, and project analysis, etc.

-Provide initial evaluation on new investment opportunities (including Public and Private Equities, Real Estate, Hedge Funds, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, and Structured Products);

-Providing regular research on attractive regional and global stocks, developing stock screening and selection models to highlight attractive positions;

-Following the shortlisted companies / stocks, conducting detailed fundamental and technical analysis, generate equity research report and provide initial recommendations (buy/hold/sell);

-Conducting detailed strategic, performance, financial and structural due diligence on fund managers;

-Preparing detailed evaluation reports / internal memos for investment approval;

-Regular reviews with fund managers, and research analysts, portfolio management and rebalancing;

-Periodic monitoring and reporting performance of existing portfolio investments;

-Conducting and reporting various performance measures (risk and return), consolidating performance analysis manager wise, geography‐wise, strategy‐wise, and asset class‐wise, etc. and conducting benchmarking analysis.

-Liaison with fund manager, consultants, and other parties involved in the investment process;

Operating Investments

-Collecting, organizing and analyzing financial, market, research, economic, industry and other relevant data to be used in investment / project evaluations;

-Providing initial evaluation on direct investment / M&A / Joint Ventures or franchise opportunities in line with the Group’s objectives and strategy;

-Creating business plans and case presentations, working with consultants to develop detailed market / feasibility studies, etc.

-Developing detailed and fully integrated financial and valuation models, conducting sensitivity / multiple scenario analysis and evaluating potential returns (IRR and NPV, etc.);

-Reviewing and analyzing economic and industry research and analyzing potential implications to existing and target operating businesses;

-Preparing detailed evaluation reports/internal memos/ or presentations for internal approvals;

-Monitoring financial and legal due diligence process and incorporating the findings into valuation model (adjustments);

-Liaison with transaction consultants, lawyers and regulators.

-Reviewing and executing legal and other transaction documents;

-Generating periodic reports on existing portfolio companies’ / Business Units’ performance; this includes financial as well as operational performance analysis.
